Hi, I’m Julie with Confessions of a Cooking Diva. I’m excited to be a contributor for White Lights on Wednesday and bringing you some fantastic drink recipes. On my blog, I love to share all my favorite recipes and encourage people to jump in the kitchen and cook versus going out every day for meals.
A couple of weeks ago, my parents got my fiancé and me a Vitamix blender as a wedding gift. I’ve wanted one of these babies for a long, long time and I couldn’t wait to mix up a tasty drink with it.
I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but Utah has been crazy hot the last couple of weeks and we haven’t even hit the hottest month of the year which is August. This heat makes me want a frozen drink every day. And what’s more fun than adding booze to an already fun drink?!
This Typhoon drink is crazy good. The pineapple flavor makes me feel like I’m on a tropical island and who doesn’t want to feel like that?! Ok, maybe being on an actual island would be better. Not only is this a tasty drink, but beautiful too. I love the color. This would be a fun drink for a girls night or a summer party.
