This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Honeysuckle White® and Shady Brook Farms®. All opinions are 100% mine.
Let me start this post off by saying that I’m a bit of a carnivore. Burgers? Yes! Chicken? Yes! Ribs? Yes. Steak? YES YES YES! So I know my meats, and what taste good.
One of the biggest surprises I had this summer cooking was turkey. Sure, we eat turkey every Thanksgiving, but throwing it on the grill seem a bit weird. That was until I tried Honeysuckle White turkey burgers. Honeysuckle White turkey can be found in the Western US, and you can find their sister brand, Shady Brook Farms on the East coast. Check your local retailers to find the brand near you.
I’ve been trying to get us eating healthier, but some of my favorite summer dinners to make are burgers and tacos. For some reason my brain never said, ” hey why don’t you try turkey burgers or ground turkey instead?” Silly brain. Turkey has more protein than beef, fewere calories than chicken (really?!?), and less fat than pork. Not that I don’t like pork fat, but a girl has to balance out now and then.
This summer you have the chance to join the Grilling with Friends Facebook app and sweepstakes! The app allow you to plan your whole grill-out in one place with a menu builder, a guest list with RSVP option, and guests can even let you know what they’ll be bringing. How cool is that?!?
These Honeysuckle White turkey burgers are just the regular burgers you’re thinking of either. Yes, they come in Ready to Season but they also come in a whole bunch of other flavors like Savory Seasoned, Swiss, Bacon & Onion, Cheddar Jalapeño, and more. These turkey brugers were realyl good. even the menfolk didn’t have anything to say about them not being hamburgers. Yes!! That’s because turkey is a flvaorful alternative to other proteins, and it’s great for grilling – like turkey brats, burgers, tenderloins, and more! Be sure that when cooking your turkey products they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
These turkey burgers are also gluten-free for you or your guests with dietary concerns. All around a big crowd pleasing win. For tips and recipes, visit Turkify.com
