I’m a foodie. Not in the snobby way, but in the when I talk about recipes I love I get that slightly glazed look on my face because I instantly taste the food and remember the sensation that dish creates for me. It’s wonderful. So it should come as no surprise that I have a some blogs that do the same for me. As much as I love reading lots of different blogs, it’s hard to keep up with everyone all the time. However, I do have some sites that I’m addicted to. Lucky for me they pop into my email inbox everyday and make me smile. I can’t get enough of these blogs. If you’re looking for some amazing recipes and pictures, you have to check these ladies out. So…without further ado, here are my favorite foodie blogs – in no particular order.
Ezra Pound Cake – It’s hard not to love Rebecca and her recipes. First, go read her about page…I’ll wait.
Elvis Panini | Baked Spinach Rigatoni
Mini Strawberry Napoleons | Maple Barbecued Country-Style Ribs
She makes incredible Southern classics, old favorites with a twist, and she has some badass desserts going on. No wonder with Rebecca being a trained pastry chef. I love her stories and food. Ezra Pound Cake reminds me of spending time with my grandma in her kitchen.
Spoon Fork Bacon – Wow. Just Wow.
Hot Brown | Yellowtail and Pomagranate Crudo
Peanut Butter & Jelly Pie Sticks | Black Garlic Brasied Short Rib Poutine
Jenny and Teri are great. I love their animated photos, and their food just makes me really happy. Granted I’m not into everything they make {I’m kind of a veggie phobe}, but the pictures are always beautiful either way and they make me want to try new foods. Check out their cocktails too. They’re delicious!
And I’m kind of dying to get my hands on their cookbook – Tiny Food Party!

Pass the Sushi & Girl Carnivore – two sites, one awesome blogger.
Irish Dream Cheesecake | Snake Bite Sandwich
Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken Burgers | Pulled Pork Cornbread Waffles
Frito Frittata | Grilled Lamb Chops with Lavender Salt
Steak au Poivre | Bourbon Braised Short Ribs with Honey and Fig Mac and Cheese
Kita is the brain child behind the Pass the Cookbook Club I’m in, but better yet she’s the food lover behind these two blogs. I’ve been following Pass the Sushi for, gosh I don’t know how long. I loved Kita’s photographs and recipes always sound totally scrumptious. Kita says she’s letting her inner fat kid party hard – my inner fat kid wants to be besties. Then, earlier this year Kita came out with Girl Carnivore. A girlie meat lovers haven, because why should boys have all the fun with meat. Seriously. You have to see the Girl Carnivore Bucket List – it’s kind of rad.
Sunflower Supper Club – Happy family comfort food.
Chile Relleno Bake | King Ranch Chicken Macaroni & Cheese
Roasted Garlic White Bean Dip | Braised Coca-Cola Brisket with Parmesan Polenta
Kim is were I got the most insane creamed corn recipe from. It’s the best thing ever. I started following her blog after seeing her as a co-host for the Weekend Potluck link party. I loved her food, so I stuck around, and here I am. A good year and a half later and I’m still a dedicated reader. My family has loved every one of Kim’s recipes I’ve made, and that’s saying a lot.

Honey Wheat Bread {Outback Copycat} | PB & J Sandwich Cookies
Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake Chimis | {Baked} Chicken Fajita Dippers
Kate has been blogging for about a year and a half, but she come into my radar earlier this year when she started linking up to Wednesday Whatsits. I just kept clicking on her recipes. So I signed up for her email updates and my inbox has been a very happy place ever since. How can you not like someone who hearts eating and isn’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops?
Sally’s Baking Addiction – There are no words.
Easy Homemade Funfetti Cake | Soft-Baked Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Cookies
Peanut Butter & Jelly Bars with White Chocolate Streusel | Bakery-Style Chocolate Chip Muffins
Okay, I can’t not say anything about Sally, so here we go. I super heart Sally and her recipes. She is a super nice gal and her desserts are amazing. I have those PB Chocolate Swirl Cookies last week and just WOW!! Everything Sally makes is super delicious and her desserts make me really happy. I can’t wait for her cookbook to come out in the Spring!!
Sprinkle Bakes – The prettiest desserts you’ll ever eat.
Peanut Butter Bourbon-Filled Doughnuts | Mini Oreo Sprinkle Cakes
No Bake Strawberry Milk Cheesecake | Fried Ice Cream Layer Cake
Heather has been one of my favorite blooger/bakers forever now. I’m a little obsessed with her blog. You may remember the Cake Day homage I did to her earlier this year. All of her desserts are so original, even if she’s combining classic flavors. And they are just so gosh darn pretty. Simple cakes have some kind of twist and are totally gorgeous. She’s an artist. I heart you Heather!
I have and L-O-V-E Heather’s cookbook. It’s wonderful and you should have it in your collection.
une gamine dans le cuisine – classic flavors with a twist.
Farm Stand Buttermilk Doughnuts | Deep Chocolate Mint Cookies
The Bucket Brownies | Antique Caramel Cake
Valerie is fabulous. Her food is lovely and I love her pictures. Her newer photos have a darker moody feel, but they are still totally great. I want to hang out and watch her photograph her food. I’ve been one of her Pinterest followers for some time now, and I get her. I love what she pins, the style and photo pins are gorgeous, and they make me really happy. Oh! And she’s the one the officially introduced me to Baked when I won a copy of Baked Elements from her. I crush on Valerie.
The National Baking Society – The boys from Baked have a blog. Yeah.
Sweet Sweet Potato Biscuits | Must Have Mustache Chocolate Cake (Grand Maman’s Cake)
Black Cocoa Powder Cake | Tarmac Cookies AKA Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Speaking of Baked, did you know these guys have a blog?!? It’s great, and full of wonderfully classic and new baked goods. I made the Black Cocoa Cake above and have been obsessed with black cocoa ever since. I may stalk them a little on Instagram too. I’m all the way across the country from the store, but I can get a little glimpse of the happiness going on, and picture what their pastry case looks like that day. I need to visit New York and spend all day at Baked. Maybe I can talk Dale into mailing me a Baked care package if I send him more cupcakes!
Confections of a Foodie Bride – Approachable, fantastic food.
Sweet Potato, Black Bean, and Goat Cheese Pizza | Sangria Fruit Cobbler
Stuffed Hatch Chile Cheeseburgers | Braided Pesto Bread
Shawnda’s just food just makes me so happy. There are tons of amazing recipes on her blog, and her photos are so full of color and happy. I got addicted to her Bernaise sauce after making Filet Oscar {recipe coming soon} for Mike. It’s become one of his most requested dishes ever. Every time a new recipe pops up, my brain immediate tries to work it into my menu plan for the week or takes inventory of the upcoming events I could make her food for.
The Slow Roasted Italian – Just such happy delicious food and cocktails.
Peanut Butter Cookie and Chocolate Trifle | Jack Daniels Double Kick Pork Chops
Lucky Lemon Seven | Best Ever Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes
This one is a little extra special for me. I know Donna and Chad. Like in person – real life. I’ve been to their house, and Donna fed me. Those pancakes up there are the best pancakes you’ll ever have. I’m not kidding. Donna makes amazing family food that you’ll love every bite of. But let’s not forget Chad. He takes the photos and comes up with the cocktails. He loves making cocktails inspired by food and getting them to taste like the real thing. Not a Snickers martini that just has chocolate and caramel drizzled on the glass, but a martini that really tastes like you’re drinking the candy bar. You have to check out his Puckered Jalapeno Frozen Margaritas. They’re hot and cold all the same time. Craziness!
Grilled Cheese Social – Because a grilled cheese is the happiest sandwich ever.
Blueberry Baby | The Morning After
The Buffer | The Bushwick Painkiller
I love this blog. MacKenzie is combining all different kinds of cheese, breads, and fillings to make the grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve ever had. I swear I forget all the great cheese and other food combinations out there, but MacKenzie is making sure we all know exactly how amazing a grilled cheese can be. Get your ooey gooey cheesy happy dance shoes on and join the GCS club.
Life Made Simple – Good food, beautiful pictures.
Cake Batter Cookies & Cream Ice Cream | Graham Cracker S’mores Bars
Andes Mint Chocolate Chip Cake | Mini Carrot Cake Loaves with Baked Cream Cheese Topping
Natalie is just great. I love her food and I’ve been reading her almost since I started blogging. I’ve made her Biscoff Coffee Cake Muffins {YUM!} and those s’mores bars up there. They’re both fantastic by the way. Her food is American classic and just makes me happy thinking about it. The Andes cakes above also won her first place in the Unique Sweets Dessert Challenge I co-hosted last year. Totally first place material. I’m seriously considering making it for my birthday cake this year.
Pinch of Yum – Where do I begin?
Honey Chicken Salad with Grapes and Feta | My Sister’s Citrus Scones
Chocolate Caramel Oatmeal Bars | Parmesan Baked Eggs
Lindsay is just great. I love her stories and her food, and I’m sure you’re tired of me talking about her all the time. Well, too bad. 🙂 She’s one of the big bloggers I really admire and aspire to, and she’s really nice and approachable too. I email her and her husband Bjork when I have questions, and they are always so helpful and nice and quick to respond. I’ve learn so incredibly much from her. And then there’s the food. I mean look at those recipes. That’s barely the tip of the ice berg. Get click happy on her recipe index, you can thank me later. 🙂
Lindsay’s photography book is the best and most approachable food photography book I’ve ever read.
The Domestic Rebel – I’m totally Team Hayley.
Monster Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs | Reese’s Chocolate Potato Chip Cookies
Creme Brulee Crunch Donuts | Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownie Bombs
Hayley is just the bee’s knees. Her desserts are fun and quirky and a little different – just like her. Gotta love a blogger who will rock blue hair. I’ve loved Hayley’s blog for a while now, but after Instagram stalking her and diving into her recipes deeper for the collections I do for Ashton, I’m obsessed. And her love of donuts just makes me really happy. Sprinkles and fund desserts for all!!
