Spiced Wholewheat Oatmeal Pancakes

  • 1 cup wholewheat flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter or oil for greasing


  1. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add in the milk and then the eggs. Once batter is smooth, grease a griddle or frying pan. Pour 1/3 c. of batter on the frying pan/griddle for each pancake. Repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve warm with maple syrup and whipped cream if desired.
