Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

In a small bowl combine brown sugar, cumin, and chili powder; set aside.

Wrap one piece on bacon (half a slice) around one Smokie and secure with a toothpick. Repeate for remaining Smokies and bacon until all Smokies are wrapped.

Place Smokies in a 9″ x 13″ baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar mixture.

Bake for 1 hour.

Serve immediately, or put Smokies into a crock pot, pour pan juices over the top, and keep covered on WARM setting.
