Ingredients

  • 4 Honeysuckle White turkey burgers Ready to Season
  • 1/2 cup French onion dip {homemade or store bought}
  • 1 yellow onion peeled and thin sliced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 burger buns

Garnish Options:

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Bacon

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and melt. Add onion slices, and stir to coat with butter. Cook, stir occassioanlly, until onions begin to brown slightly, 4 to 5 mins. Reduce heat to medium or medium-low (depending on your stove) and cook for about 10 mins until onions are caramelized.
  2. While the onions are cooking, heat your grill (or grill pan or skillet) to medium-high heat. Place turkey burgers on grill, cook for 4 to 5 minutes, flip burgers, and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, or until burgers are cooked through and there is no more pink. Remove from grill.
  3. If desired, toast the cut side of each bun on the grill as well.
  4. Place garnishes on bottom burger bun. Top with turkey burger. Place 1/4 of the caramelized onions on top of the burger. Spread 2 tablespoons of French onion dip on the top burger bun, and place the but on top to finish your burger. Enjoy!
