Lena B, here!
Honored that Julie asked me to step in as a fashion contributor here on WLOW… I’m just a mom with a full-time 9-5 job, blogging from a VERY small farming community in Quebec, Canada. I enjoy expressing myself through fashion & feel it’s important to switch things up when it comes to my looks.
Today’s look is actually a really easy, weekend look. Fun & comfortable, of course… and a look that ANYONE can rock.
Patterned shorts!!
I know… some of you are probably on the fence about “shorts.” I’ve NEVER actually been a short-wearing kind of gal. I was never happy the way any of them fit… and they seemed kind of boring and little to “safe.” But I think it’s really important to step out of your comfort zone every now & then.
Intrigued by a trend, but a little nervous to try it out? Start slow. These shorts are from Joe Fresh and only cost about $15. I “liked” them in the change room, so I thought I might as well add a pair to my closet!
So happy I did! It’s a fresh, fun way to put a cute look together that is appropriate for errands and running after 2 little ones!
The best part is, this whole look came together well under $40!
Shorts (Joe Fresh $15), Old white tee, Converse knockoffs ($8) & a cute pair of sunnies (Old Navy $10)
