Hi friends, I’m Paula from Call Me PMc. PMc is a nickname I received in college and stuck beyond college. I was honored when Julie asked me to contribute to her blog and especially to the Cocktail index. I love cocktails; I love to make them and I love to drink them. I’m just happy my nickname isn’t Tequila or Rum….that would have been fitting as well!
My husband and I love to entertain. We had an idea to throw a Martini Party years ago. The first year it started out small, the next year it was bigger, and by the third year we had friends calling asking if and when we were having it. We threw the two-hour party before a local festival because, let’s face it, we couldn’t afford to serve martinis for an extended time-frame. It was a come-get-your-drink-on-then-move-on party.
I prepared all the appetizers; the last party we had about 100 guests, it took a lot of planning in the food area. We also decided on a Martini Menu with creative and tasty martinis. They varied from fruity to bourbon to the straight up classic, shaken not stirred! By the way, the classic Martini made famous by 007 was not the most popular! We changed up the menu slightly for each party, but their are a few favorites that were too popular to remove. For instance, there was no way we could take off PMc’s Famous Chocolate Martini. It was too popular. It was a favorite from the first party to the last. It was famous!
PMc’s Famous Chocolate Martini is what I’m sharing with you today. It’s slightly sweet, slightly strong and ‘hello!’ it has chocolate in it! Who wouldn’t love it?!
