My Sister’s Guacamole

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Avocados from Mexico for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

So, you all know how I’m in love with avocados…right?!? Well I am. My step-dad likes to say how my mom and my love of avocados is due to the fact that we’re from California. That’s a little generalized for me. I think we’re just smart enough to know what really tastes good in life. Enter Avocados from Mexico.

There are million things you can do with this creamy fruit. Bake it, grill it, mash it, slice it. Dips, garnishes, doughnut fillings, frostings, popsicles, face masks. Okay, let’s keep it on food people. How could you not love this versatile food? I’m a traditionalist. My favorite thing to use avocados for is in my Ham & Cheese Omelet and for Guacamole. Gotta feature the goods!

Since I’m not shy about my love for avocados I’m really happy I found some new ways to express my love of this awesome green fruit. Avocados – they’re not just in your belly anymore. 😉

I’ve got avocados on my laptop…

on my phone…

and on my shoulder.

If you’re an avocado lover like me you’ll definitely want to check out the Avocados from Mexico Facebook page for the Share the Avocado Love Facebook app. You can download ringtones, wallpapers, gift virtual avocado gifts, and even get blog badges!

If the virtual world isn’t enough for you, stop by the Avocados from Mexico Cafe Press store and grab some goods from the new 2013 I Love Avocados collection. There are shirts, hats, kitchen gear, bags, and chef aprons. I’m all over this tote bag.

It’s the perfect bag to take shopping for my guacamole ingredients. There was no way I was going to dish and run…I’m so punny. So I today I’m sharing my family’s guacamole recipe. It’s a little different, just go with me on this one. I’ve used this recipe to convert many a non-guac liking friend to the light.
