I don’t know about you, but I love subscription boxes! Stitch Fix, Dollar Shave Club, Ipsy. If it comes in the mail to my front door, sign me up! But I just found about the coolest thing ever – Cratejoy! Anyone, and I mean anyone, can start their own subscription box service. Now I’m hoping all my favorite Etsy stores will start doing this. (A girl can dream.)
Subscription boxes are hot, Hot, HOT right now! They are also an amazing way to expand your business plan and reach a new audience by showing them a sampling of your work each month for one flat price. Sign up for Cratejoy, pick the box theme and let the fun begin!
I think my favorite thing about Cratejoy is that the dashboard and website setup are super easy to use. There are even a couple tutorial videos for visual learners, like me.
The launch list walks you through everything you need to get your store up and running so you don’t forget a single step. Set a schedule that works for you. Offer discounts for bulk ordering or give out coupon codes to loyal customers.
See your customer and shipments on in an easy to read list. Set shipping rules (like US only, US & Canada, or select the countries of your choosing), and connect your preferred payment system.
*Note: Cratejoy does not use PayPal, but I’ve had friends recommend Stripe and would chose that option.
Design you site with pre-designed theme layout options. Change the fonts and colors to match your brand. Upload your own logo and prodcut images. Link to your social media accounts. See what your store looks like on a variety of devices.
If you’re loving your free trial time with Cratejoy, you can even extend it by shouting out your love to the rest of the world.
How easy is that?! So easy that I’m even thinking of starting my own subscription box for my new blog design site as a blogger love add-on! I could send download cards for inspirational desktop & mobile device backgrounds, candles, bath bombs, motivational books, or anything else to help bloggers relax and get their mojo back! I’m even thinking about a foodie box. I mean really, who doesn’t love snacks? I’d offer everything from my Buffalo Ranch Snack Mix to cookie mixes and more. What do you think? Should I go for it? Are you inspired to start your own shop? If you launch, let me know! I’d love to see what you’re offering! #FindMeOnCratejoy
I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love getting mail, especially when it’s a surprise box of awesomeness!! Better yet for a limited time, anyone who signs up through the Cratejoy “Learn More” or “Start Free Trial” forms will be entered to win one of five $200 free shipping credits on Cratejoy. That’s right kids. Launch your subscription box business and you could end up with free shipping to your customers!
Cratejoy isn’t just for selling either. You can shop the subscription boxes of other vendors and find a new hobby, update your wardrobe, and more! I’ve got my eye on the Harry Potter fan boxes for the boys and the Grill Master box for me!
Cratejoy is a fantastic way to increase your renevue (especially forexsisting Etsy & eBay businesses) and makes it easy to know what inventory you’ll need each month. It’s a win-win for you and your customers!
