Meatloaf

There's nothing more homey and satisfying than this classic meatloaf!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoons dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ? teaspoon pepper
  • pounds ground beef

Toppping:

  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together eggs and milk. Add in bread crumbs, onion powder, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper; stir to combine. Add ground beef and mix together by hand until meat and seasonings are well incorporated.
  3. Transfer meat mixture to a 9? x “5 loaf pan and press into dish to evenly distribute meat mixture.
  4. Bake for 1 hour. Pour off fat.
  5. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Top meatloaf with ketchup mixture. Bake for 10 minutes. let loaf stand for 10 minutes before serving.
