Welcome to Wednesday Whatsits.
Okay. As you read this I’m dealing with a major situation.
There is a scorpion in my dishwasher. It’s hiding under the bottom rack so I can’t get to it.
Mike’s not home. I’m out of Everclear to pour on it (they sting themselves to death if you douse them in Everclear). And I’m freaking out it’s going to crawl out and sting one of the boys.
On the blog this week.
My Secret Recipe Club Assignment this month was Juanita’s Cocina. I made her Pumpkin Cheesecake Chimichangas and I am in LOVE! They were totally worth the grease burn.
Fashion contributor Lena is showing you some Halloween Inspired outfit options to look the part without going full costume.
I made some Monsters University Disco Ball Candied Apples to celebrate the upcoming release of the movie.
Dessert contributor Deb made you all Oatmeal Pumpkin Cookies. Why she didn’t mail me a dozen is another story. I mean, she has my address. 😉
I finished off Crocktober Fest with a Crock Pot Rocky Road Chocolate Cake. Did you know you can make cake in the crock pot? I didn’t until now!
I got all crafty and made the boys spooky Something Wicked Halloween Art with Frog Tape® Shape Tape™.
If anyone does this costume Instagram me on it! @whtlghtswdnsdy
