Can you believe May is almost over? I swear this year is going by at lightening fast speeds. I know some parts of the country are still a little on the cool side, but here in AZ we’re in full swing towards our 100+ degree days. Ugh. It was nice to see this month’s Stitch Fix shipment included light fabric, and easy breezy pieces that will be perfect for summer.
And I may have forgotten to turn the auto focus back on my camera for the first picture, so just pretend you can see the little sailboats on the dress. M’kay?

Here’s this month’s FIX.
This dress is so freaking cute. While I told my stylist I don’t really wear blue, I should quantify I don’t like to wear blue with jeans. Something like this is totally do-able. The fabric on this dress was so light and flowy, and it’s completely lined. The waist tie let me cinch the waist in just right. The only negative was the neckline hit way too high in the front and back for me. If had been a little lower, this dress would be hanging in my closet.
VERDICT: Returned
41Hawthorn Tammi Sailboat Print Fit & Flare Dress $68
How freaking cute is this skirt?!?!? I love it. Seriously. It flows perfectly, it has great polka dots, and it hits my natural waist (making me look tiny). I pretty much never where skirts, but I would for this one. A lass, only one item was in the budget this month and after lots of hmmming and hawing, I passed.
VERDICT: Returned
Pomelo Hanneli Polka Dot Swing Skirt $54
I’m not a pink girl. It’s never been a color I’m drawn to. I gave this shirt and try and it was a big no. The last button hit way too high. When I walk, the shirt opens and there’s my stomach. Boo
VERDICT: Returned
Collective Concepts Esten Button-Up Sleeveless Blouse $54
Cute necklace, but even on the longest chain section it fit almost like a choker. It’s a bit too delicate for me as well. It seemed a bit over priced compared to the necklace itself as well.
VERDICT: Returned
Zag Francesca Bow Tie Necklace $48
Winner winner chicken dinner. This shirt is light weight, cute, comfy, and I’m a little obsessed with mustard yellow. (see: my wallet) I’ve worn this shirt once a week already. The only downer, once I washed it the shirt shrank in length. So now I need to wear a tank top underneath to keep my skin from showing.
VERDICT: KEEPER
Pomelo Downing Striped Knit Shirt $44
{I’m gravitating strongly towards the Pomelo and 41Hawthorn clothes in each shipment.}
Here are my style cards for this month. I love that each piece gets a casual and dressed up option to think about. It’s not just dressing up that one piece, it’s about mixing and matching with your whole wardrobe. Make it fun.
Do you see that very dangerous line right above the total that say “Buy all Discount?” It basically says if you keep everything, one piece is free – more or less. DANGEROUS and so so fun! That’s it for this month! I can’t wait to see what comes in June.
You can sign up for your own Stitch Fix too!
I’d love to see what you get in your shipment!!
