Scrumptious Sunday Menu Plan {7/7/13}

This edition of Scrumptious Sunday is going to be a little different.  With my 30th birthday just two short days away, this week I’m sharing fantasy meals.  Things I’d eat if I could have anything I want – and someone else was cooking for me.

Uni Risotto

{I love risotto, and I’ve been wanting to try uni for years now after watching too much Iron Chef.}

French Onion Burger

{I L-O-V-E a big, juicy, get all over my hands burger…and caramelized onions.  YUM!}

Lobster Rolls with Garlic Butter Buns

{I’ve never had a Lobster Roll, which I think is a little sacrilegious.  Let’s fix that.}

Butter Cream Chicken

{This chicken tastes exactly like the chicken my grandma used to make.  It’s makes me sublimely happy when eating it.}

Maple Juniper Beef tenderloin with Chocolate Infused Red Wine Jus, Leek and Potato Mash Cole Nicholson

Maple Juniper Venison Loin with Chocolate Infused Red Wine Jus, Leek and Potato Mash

{I would make this with filet instead.  I’m not that into the whole gamey flavor thing, but wow.}

Pan-Seared Scallops

{I don’t know if there is a food in the world that makes me as happy as a perfectly seared scallop.}

Crab and Gnocchi Gratin

{Crab and Gnocchi should get married.  This sounds like the most creamy, unctuous, divine dish.}

Lindy’s Cheesecake

{If I could only have one dessert, my last sweet bite, it would be cheesecake.  Just a classic cheesecake.}

    Great post! I’m with ya in loving risotto…It’s hands down my favorite pasta dish. That crab and gnocchi gratin looks insanely good. And cheesecake is the perfect way to end your week. Happy almost-birthday!!

    I’ll take one of each, please. 😉 My first (and the ONLY) lobster roll I have ever ate was from a little dockside restaurant in Cape Cod. OMGEE. Best. thing. ever. You need to get your hands on one asap, my friend.
